Guy last night was talking about how he hated Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, thought it was unrealistic.  I explained to him that these are the chinese equivalent of superheroes and part of their mythology, like Superman is to us.  Then the guy went on and said that well, Superman was real and that chinese shit was stupid.  Then he went on to say Hancock was the best film he’d ever seen cause it added so much to the superhero genre.  Apparently never read watchman.  I quickly finished my meal and ran back to the apartment and hid in a corner for the rest of the night.
